Resin handle? None of this applies. Wash and dry it like the steel, and you're done.
Where It Lives
A block, a magnetic strip, or a slotted in-drawer tray — any of these keep the edge protected and off other metal. If your set came with a sheath, it's built for exactly this, once the steel is fully dry.
What to avoid: tossing it loose in a drawer with other utensils (dulls the edge, and it's a hazard reaching in blind), or storing it anywhere with constant humidity — right by the sink or the dishwasher.
One More Thing: Your Cutting Board
Wood or plastic. Glass, stone, and ceramic boards are hard enough to dull — or chip — an edge this fine, which just means more maintenance down the road. The board is doing as much for your tool's lifespan as the drying towel is.
